Greg Cohen
Greg Cohen first picked up the camera in 1993, and has lived throughout the United States shooting along the way. Now more focused on a global scale, he is currently developing projects in central Africa and Southeast Asia …and Connecticut.
There is a humanness to his imagery, connecting diverse people through their undeniable similarities; exploring the strange and familiar simultaneously. His work finds truth, humor, and pathos in the experiences of his subjects and the landscapes that surround them.
Cohen is a native to the east coast, and now lives in Los Angeles, where he curates local exhibitions. He exhibits nationwide and is represented by Allen Gallery in New York. He is a camera assistant on the set of Heroes and the curator and co-founder of Heroes For Autism.
