I started drawing at an early age. I became adept at looking at pictures, then drawing and coloring them. At age 13, I attended art classes in junior high school. I also received private tutoring in oil-based painting in the Summer of 2006, followed by high school art classes using water-based paints, pencil, and pastel. Following patterns has always been easy for me, and I was able to reproduce line drawings to be used in creating architectural drawings for my father’s construction and design business. I have completed several commissions including wedding pictures, casual portraits, and even a family’s beloved pet using chalk pastel on paper as my medium. I graduate from high school this year and am currently taking a college level drawing course. One of my life goals is to continue growing as an artist and make a living as an artist.
