Nate Goodman
Nate Goodman graduated from Brown University with honors, but after only one year of the UCLA film program, he decided to shoot films instead of study them. He became a cameraman to more closely observe directors, and to exercise his technically creative hand in the process. While he primarily frames up with a motion picture camera, he also uses a still camera as a tool for storytelling.
Through the years, Goodman has risen through the camera department working on independent films, network television and major motion pictures, while continuously shooting stills. The visual style he delivers in each medium shares a noticeably similar voice, yet they each seem to have their own dialect. While he is consistently drawn to natural lighting and use of color, the scenes he tends to expose illuminate a narrative where mystery persists, and a story may or may not reveal itself.
Nate Goodman lives in Hollywood, CA and has been a Director of Photography on HEROES for three seasons.
